Lilac Blue Weddings was created to provide a fresh and personal service allowing couples to mix sterling silver, finest bone china and crystal with unusual items such as contributions to a wine cellar, a weekend away, commissioning a piece of art, balloon rides and joining the Classic Car Club. We are limited only by our imagination and will ensure that you never run out of fun ideas to inspire your guests - right up to the wedding day.

Getting started

• You can either create your list through our website or, if help is required, you can contact a personal consultant by e-mail on weddings@lilacblueweddings.com or telephone - 0845 388 1038).  To have a look at a sample list please access www.lilacblueweddings.com , "guests" and enter Lilac in the bride's surname field.
• We will happily meet at your London-based home and help you to create your ideal list.  Meetings are not always essential as sometimes couples have a fairly fixed idea on what gifts they would like to receive.  If you are located outside of London then meetings can be held at our Central London offices.
• Most major brands can be supplied and if you are unable to find what you are looking for on our catalogue then we can always source it for you - up to a maximum of five additional suppliers.  If we are unable to set up a relationship with a supplier then we can still list the item but with a 10% administration charge built into the cost of the piece.
• We will supply you with as many gift cards as you require to be sent out with your invitations.  These will advise your guests where your list is held, how to access it and also provide a telephone number for those guests that do not have internet access - enabling them to ask for a faxed or posted list or to be advised on what you would really like to be given.

Up until the wedding day

• Your online wedding list can be added to and updated right up until the wedding day.
• We will be in touch with you on a weekly basis to establish that you are happy with the items remaining on your list and to ensure that all price brackets are still sufficiently covered - suggesting additional gifts where necessary.

Receiving your gifts - the most important part!

• We will determine, pretty much at the outset, whether you intend to receive gifts as bought or whether you might like to swap items around.  This would be particularly relevant if, a dinner service has been included on your list and it might not be that all of it has been bought by your guests.
• You will be asked if there are any particular gifts that you might like to receive prior to going on honeymoon - luggage for example.
• Please bear in mid that suppliers have variable lead times - there are some china suppliers that have a 8 week lead time.
• All gifts come beautifully wrapped and with handwritten messages conveying your guests' messages.

Pricing

• This is set at standard retail (the only exception might be where a 10% administration fee may be necessary - as detailed above).  There is no gift-wrapping or general administration fee and we will provide one free delivery.  Additional deliveries may be charged at face value.
